The rate at which things are changing is accelerating and flat-world improvements have the ability to have mass adoption at lightspeed. However, it also means the rate at which things could deteriorate could move at the same speed. It's a double-edged sword and it's hard to know which side of it will prevail. We HAVE the "green technology" to non-electric heat/cool homes etc - we've had it for over 100 years! And Noel's right too on credit. The world economics are changing. Not sure about people still saving. But they are definately not using credit. People need to stay away from that. Live below your means. We are not millionaires, yet. Forget about the marble countertops, the ceramic floors and the vaulted ceilings. It is not convenience. Put your money in what counts. Like your childrens higher education or maybe your impending retirement. I don't know about you, Ii want to retire sooner than later. Noel Your right. The world economics are changing.
