Brand U.0 – Enhanced By Social Media

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

As the world continues to flatten, not only are businesses getting more competitive, but so are people. The effect of globalization goes beyond competitors in commerce and seeps into opportunities for the individual.  Sharing ideas and beliefs are no longer for those who have lots of money and can pay for air time on the radio or television, nor only for editors who have their own columns in magazines or newspapers.  You now can be heard around the world with a few strokes of a keyboard and a few clicks of a mouse. Embrace Obstacles As Opportunity

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Embrace Obstacles As OpportunityA wise man once said , “Every adversity and defeat carries the seed of an equivalent benefit, if we are ingenious enough to find it.” Through some eyes, every obstacle is viewed as an opportunity. Spoken with true optimism, I am suggesting there is good that will come out of this era of relentless corporate catastrophe.

Save Money and Live Frugally

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Hello world!Save Money and Live FrugallyYou may not think that this is the greatest start of a blog about generating the ideas that inspire the future. I think that it is perfect. The old economic paradigm that we have been operating under for the last 40 years or so has collapsed. The government is spending huge amounts of money to preserve it, but it won’t really work. Our prosperity the last 40 years has been based upon over consumption on credit. That has finally failed because the debt has overwhelmed our ability to produce and pay for it.

After we go through a period of trying to save the old way, then we will have to rebuild our economy based upon a new paradigm. I suspect the economy will get much worse for a lot of people over the next few years. Will we see 25% unemployed as we had in the 1930s? I don’t know. If you count it like they did back then, we are at about 17%.

This environment will create many opportunities to create real value. Authentic value is what people will flock to. Find a way to create real and authentic value and push it to the extreme. It all probably starts with getting people in touch with the title of this post.
